Filthy store

I was at the store in Hattiesburg last Thursday. It had to be the dirtiest, unorganized store I have ever been in. Bolts of fabric laying everywhere, empty buggies all over the store and empty boxes everywhere. One employee behind the cutting table on cell phone, very unprofessionally dressed, no name tag and reeked of cigarette smoke. This is the second or third time I have been in this store and it has been very cluttered. No wonder they are going bankrupt.

Slow customer service

I had cut 12 different fabrics at 2 yards each. Knew what i was after so maybe took 20 minutes picking out fabric bc I was there and had already knew what I was after a couple of days prior but was waiting on sale. I was there a total of 2n hours bc it took so long at cutting table. lady behind me was there an hour and only had one yard to have cut. she was upset and complained to manager and after that customer left the manager complained to me about customer. I told her she had a valid complaint bc i had been there so long. I have been a customer for over 30 years and that may have been my last time walking they doors bc of the service i have received today and previously. Clarksville In location

Designed to be Ripped Off

The traveling sales person came to Hancock Fabrics and proceeded to sell sewing machine supplies and claimed their merchandise was superior and brand new. What I was actually sent was a greasy broken sewing machine needle and foot! After repeated requests to mail it back and get a refund I was accused of being a "lying ***" and was denied a refund of $31.45. WHY would you sell broken garbage, claim it was new, and then never have a traveling salesmen ever go back to the city where they sold their garbage? Because it's a scam that's why! I complained to the BBB which was a waste of time. This company's address is listed as PO Box 768 Estero, FL 33928. In fact I'd steer clear of Hancock Fabrics since this is not the first time I've heard of companies that do this to people. Stick only with trusted names and don't waste your time there.
